Grappler vs Boxer is usually a bad match-up for the boxer. Zangief has the edge, unless no grappling is allowed in the Kumite tournament.

Tyson was great in the boxing ring, but he's never faced a grappler, especially one of the strength and caliber of Zangief. 'Gief would very likely keep Tyson tied up to prevent him from getting good shots off, and he could also even take a good punch or two from Mike to move in for his patented holds/throws for the win.

Zangief was made for fights like this. And his muscles are so strong I've seen him tank direct punches and he doesn't even flinch. Tyson can't punch hard enough, I'm sorry.
