As much as it pains me, I think I agree with you all. I don't think Ziggy is the type of person that you would want to have at a birthday party for a kid. They kinda would not care? Animal musicians on the other hand, they'd eat that up. I have to go with the Bremen Town Musicians.

Has no one seen Labyrinth? Bowie is a natural with kids. "Magic Dance" would play great to this crowd. I'm unconvinced that just because they're talking animals they would do well. If real, singing animals came to my birthday party when I was six I would shit bricks

When I nominated Ziggy, I didn't think of nominating Bowie as a whole. I meant to nominate specifically the Ziggy Stardust PERSONA.

Ah, but we are not evaluating Jareth the Goblin King.

Bowie is an amazing entertainer but I just don't see how he competes against musical animals with children.  I mean, children see Chuck E. Cheese as a magical place... which it's not so much when you are an adult.
