Another one where I don't think either one does especially well, but Arthur does have experience with similar scenarios. There's a mission in RDR 2 where Arthur has to sell a bunch of bootleg booze at a bar. Granted, not a necessarily hard thing to do, but it shows that he does have experience with salesmanship and deception.

I just think The Man With No Name is definitely worse here. I cannot imagine him selling snake oil in any way, shape or form.
