I think either one could pull this off.  I like Murtaugh here better, me personally, just because of the Murtaugh family who seem to get sucked into these misadventures.  I can just envision Roger running around saying he's "too old for this shit" while saving his kids from hellspawn.

Considering John McClane survived everything under the sun, even if he's somehow ridiculously overpowered in the last two Die Hard films, he could take this. 

Also, this match feels so apt.

I actually think Krampus could take both of them down. Isn't he immune to bullets? I recall that to some extent. I don't know why. I do think John McClane wins, though. He's a bit more... outwardly superhuman when compared to Roger Murtaugh. And more of a one man army.
