Man, why are we almost always on opposite sites of a Draft debate?  

But yeah, with this type of tension to deal with, the Clauses would likely work together here. While I'm sure Mrs. Claus can make a damn fine meal (as she always manages to get her hubby fattened up in time for his sleigh ride ), Santa is the real expert when it comes to bringing people together come Christmas time. At the risk of sounding overtly religious, possibly only the birthday boy himself, Jesus Christ, may be better at the job.

Yeah, there's a reason Santa Claus is the man known for representing Holiday Cheer and not Mrs. Claus. It's cause he's the best man for the job.
