I think Pearl might have an advantage given her musical numbers and dancing.

I actually think the opposite it true. Pearl has a good enough voice, but her dancing won't get her too far, and her voice is not good enough to carry her. There would be dozens of people there with comparable voices. Tenacious D, on the other hand, are much more unique, have their own instruments, and would attract more of a crowd to themselves in my opinion
