Ah, good match but I believe Reed's more scientifically focused mind and experience with adventures/missions in the microverse give him the edge.

This one would definitely be close. Both are extremely intelligent characters and rely on intellect above almost all else. Mister Fantastic is one of the greatest minds of Marvel while Lex is one of the greatest of DC.

With that said, I believe Reed would be able to pull of a win through experiences and knowledge that he has gain through those experiences

I believe this is where the distinction between a mad scientist and evil genius makes all the difference. Lex is definitely the more cunning and perhaps even the more "street smart" of the two, but I'd give this to Reed as the better scientist. He tends to use his science more to defeat opponents, whereas Lex relies on a variety of factors including manipulation, intimidation, money and ruthlesness. Reed for the win in this scenario.
