Genius Challenge: Who wins the battle using only Nuclear Engineering skills

While both of these have vast means of resources. I think I am leaning towards Lex for this one. He has proven to have different areas of abilities and intelligence

Yeah, I feel Lex gets the win here. Palpatine is a crafty scheming politician and expert in the Force but as far as scientific matters go, he's outclassed.

True, Palpatine's intelligence lies in politics, subterfuge, manipulation and the like. If I were to ask him to build a nuke, he probably couldn't. On the other hand, Lex Luthor has solved complex chemistry related questions before in mere seconds. The chances of him being smarter than Palpatine in this specific scenario are very high.

Still though, nuclear energy is a primitive or better said outdated technology or power source in the Star Wars universe. Palpatine had an extensive education and my have resources or know things about nuclear engineering that go beyond what Lex knows or has been exposed to.
