tommy just went back to angel grove for nostalgic purposes 

tommy goes by the juice bar  where him and the rangers  used to hang out when he sees it's been fully replaced by a dojo 

so he goes in to check it out and he sees two kids 

hawk takes new kid down in an arm bar 

hawk-  TAP NOW !!!

kid taps 

john - show him how we  reward weakness 

hawk yanks back and breaks the kids arm 

kid - crying in pain .

tommy runs  over and checks on the kid  

 

john - he obviously  was to weak  to be here we will weed out the weak.

tommy - you have no business teaching martial arts  you miss use what you have learned  to hurt and manipulate children.

john - right another "teacher " the world is tough out there it will never show you mercy  people will always take more no matter how much you  give the only way to survive is to take what you want .

tommy -your right iam a teacher  and you sound like you need a lesson takes a stance 

john - alright pay attention  class iam going to show you what good intentions get you if you don't have the gut to follow through.

I think even if Tommy doesn't morph, he has skills that have proven that he can hold his own. Dont get me wrong, Kreese is a skilled warrior himself but he doesn't have much when it comes to defense as he is more offensive. Tommy should counter most of his attacks and then knock him out for the win

Yeah, I think Tommy is gonna be more skilled. Kreese is really good obviously, but not power ranger (morph or not) good.

Oh, man, whoever chose Kreese's current profile pic did not show one of his shining moments.  

I haven't seen Cobra Kai, but I seriously doubt Kreese has gained enough skill since the Karate Kid films to compensate for Tommy's relative youth and the fact that Tommy still regularly fights.

I can vouch for it. I binged watched the show earlier this year. 
 

Cobra Kai Reese is a very good fighter and I think this match is closer then most people think. I only slightly give the edge to Tommy for fighting more varied enemies.
