Interesting. Akuma is far more skilled and more likely to go for deadly force first, but Saitama should be massively more powerful. Even with Tekken scalings, I don't see anything for Akuma as powerful as Saitama completely obliterating an attack which was stated to be planet-busting with one punch.  Saitama is likely also faster. Akuma's one advantage is that Saitama has a bad habit of tanking many attacks because he doesn't feel the need to dodge them, and he doesn't have any showings that he can survive an attack that targets his soul specifically, at least not that I know about. If Akuma were to hit him with that attack, it's possible Saitama would lose. However, even that's iffy, and that's assuming Akuma manages to land it. When his opponent is using what is obviously a very strong attack, Saitama does tend to either avoid it or return it to sender, like with Boros' big finale attack, and while he does tank a lot of damage he doesn't have to, if Akuma were fighting competitively with him until that point it's very unlikely he would goof around like that

While Saitama is often a silly person and doesn't take fights seriously, when he does he absolutely obliterates his opponent. Taking this as his best, or most serious, form he should have no problems taking out Akuma quickly.

Also remember guys that if we count Akuma’s feats outside the main Street Fighter game, he is strong enough to punch out a potential planet ending meteor:

Of course, the thing is that I’m not quite sure how to classify Saitama’s upper strength potential. Like the Tick it is heavily implied that he is far stronger then what’s been shown in the manga or anime, but without actual feats it is hard to actually prove what his upper strengths are. It’s pretty frustrating.
