Match 16120 Champions (Second Version) vs. The Decepticons

'How did we get here?' Kamala thought to herself. 'No really, how?'

Those exact thoughts ran through her head. 

The past few days, or was it 24 hours had all been a blur. She and the Champions were having a day off when it seemed like there weren't any villains to face off against. That was, until Viv sensed a disturbance nearby and discovered some kind of cube buried. To which the later found out was something called The Allspark. The way it was smoking meant it had just landed there. But then they get attacked by giant robots who called themselves the Decepticons. 

They were outmatched, until a woman known as the Doctor managed to distract them for the time being. For Kamala, the stress meant details got hazy but one thing was for sure, the Decepticons were not giving up without a fight and the Autobots were elsewhere for some reason. 

The rest of the Champions and the Doctor were at an oil rig where they were causing destruction during the fight. Nine Decepticons in total but there were nine members of the Champions in the battle including Ms Marvel, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Nova (Sam Alexander), Brawn, Ironheart, Viv, Snowguard, Wasp (Nadia Van Dyne) and Bombshell (Lana Baumgartner).

"Okay!" The Doctor gathered the teen heroes. "I actually managed to do some tinkering with the cube."

"What did you do?" Asked Spider-Man, warily what the Doctor could have possibly done. 

"The cube is techno organic," the Doctor explained. "It can affect both technology and organic life but because it is mostly tech, I can rewrite its purposes. If you touch the cube, it'll give you the chance to fight the Decepticons directly! It'll enhance your powers and make you grow!"

"It'll make us grow?!" Nova shouted in disbelief. 

"It can?!" Wasp excitedly asked. 

The Doctor nodded, "It can! And before you ask, I made sure it's safe!"

"Is it?" Ironheart asked skeptically. 

BOOM! 

"I don't think we have any choice!" Ms Marvel said. "Let's do it!"

The rest of the Champions nodded. And with that, all nine teens touched the Allspark. The glow emitted from each of their hands-all of them feeling a surge of power. 

"Wait a minute!" Ms Marvel realized. "I can already grow! Why would I-?"

It was too late. Each of the teen heroes were spazzing as they felt the power from the Allspark affecting their bodies. Suddenly, in an instant, they felt their bodies stretching wholesale. The entire team, save for Viv, screamed at the top of their lungs as they felt the pain. Until seconds later, it stopped and took a look at their new surroundings. And their height. 

"Whoa!" Spider-Man shouted as he looked at the now tiny oil rigs. The desert now just seemed like those tiny play carpets for toddlers to their huge eyes. 

"Man, is this what it's like for you?" Brawn asked Ms Marvel in utter amazement. 

"Mostly!" Ms Marvel replied in disbelief as she knew what it felt like to be big. She felt natural given she was seemingly at her normal stature but then imagined the possibilities of using her size shifting abilities as being a bigger giant than before. 

"I'm not sure how to feel about this," Snowguard said as she looked at her hands and her entire body before grinning, "but I think I'll like it!"

"So..."

The Champions turned to face Megatron, leader of the Decepticons, looking unimpressed but smug. Even the rest of the Decepticons such as Starscream and Soundwave. 

"Do you really think I'm easily intimidated by a bunch of infants?" Megatron laughed. "Don't make me laugh! You will rule the day you have been beaten!"

"You know what?!" Ms Marvel shouted. " I've had just about enough of you acting like a jerk!"

She added, "And just for that..."

Ms Marvel grew to inches to taller to what would normally be considered her regular height as a giant but now, she equated to an inch or two taller than Devestator much to their shock. 

"I'll even the odds!" She finished. 

"I'll crush you all with my bare hands!" Megatron sneered before shouting to his troops, "Decepticons, attack!"

"Let's kick their tin cans back into space!" Ms Marvel shouted to her teammates. 

"Right!" With that, the two factions charged and soon the fight turned to an all out brawl with a few lasers and blasts for good measure with Snowguard even landing a hit on Soundwave, Spider-Man punching Starscream despite the seeker's attempts to fire at him and Ms Marvel fighting both Megatron and Devestator, attempting to push them both back despite their efforts to fight her. 

The Doctor and her companions, Ryan, Yaz and Graham, ended up hiding behind, watching the battle from a safe distance. 

"Do you think they can win this?" Asked Yaz. 

"They're the last line of defense!" The Doctor responded breathlessly. "All we can do is hope they win they day!"

I decided to go for a very wild crazy fight that no, I was not high but I was inspired by the final episode of Power Rangers Zeo where that Power Rangers team had to literally grow into giants to fight the villain King Mondo when he grew into a giant himself. So, not only I thought of this fight but two more variations are coming after this with the same mcguffin to make it happen. But the Allspark, I basically thought of what would a G1 version be like and my thought process amounted to, it could do anything. At least, that's how I would see it working if it existed in the original cartoon. 

So statistics, the Decepticons are their G1 cartoon counterparts consisting of Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Devastator (formed by the constructicons), Blitzwing, Kickback, Sharpnel and Bombshell.

The Champions here consist of Ms Marvel, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Nova (Sam Alexander), Viv Vision, Brawn (Amadeus Cho), Ironheart, Wasp (Nadia Van Dyne), Snowguard and Bombshell (Lana Baumgartner). All of them are using their powers to full strength and enhanced via the set up.

Are Transformers hackable/reprogrammable? If I recall correctly there’s been moments when Autobots got converted to the Decepticon cause and vice versa...point being, this version of the Champions has 3 super geniuses in Amadeus Cho, Riri Williams and Nadia Van Dyne, plus a fourth pretty smart mind in Miles as well as Viv’s computerized mind and tech that could likely interface with the Decepticons systems? 

On the other hand, these are also just transforming giant robots basically, a pretty common superhero threat, don’t think it would be that hard for the Champions to punch their way through this challenge.

Hmmm, while I often feel like the G1 transformers don’t get enough credit for how powerful they were (most being at least city busters) and I do worry that some of the lower tier Champions might not survive the fight, I ultimately believe Nova, Brawn, and Viv Vision will ultimately carry their team to a win.

Fun match. While the Champions will have their hands full I think they can handle this. I imagine they will send the Decepticons retreating as per usual.
