I don't think this goes well for Hellboy. Unless he has resistance to being put into an illusion, then he's probably going down to Itachi's Genjutsu. Even without using that, Hellboy is just too slow to keep up

It shouldn't, no. Not in any capacity that would allow Hellboy to even land a hit on Uchiha, anyway.

Ninjas in Naruto casually run on water, the swamp doesn't work against Itachi at all.

Itachi takes this pretty easy, as Hellboy doesn't have a lot of ways to counter the ninja's techniques. Not only that, Hellboy probably can't even hit him.
