Lex is very smart and lives in a universe with many supergeniuses, and still distinguishes himself as a force to be reckoned with intelligence-wise. If he were to steal something like this, it would be very hard to trace it back to him

Nick Valentine is a synthetic which gives him some data processing and hacking skills which might come in useful here.

The question is, how good is Lex at covering his tracks, and the answer is usually pretty good.  A synthetic detective might have a better shot at this then some others, though.

Seems weird for Lex to want to steal artwork at any point, he can easily just buy anything he wishes for. Seems strange for him to do this, but he's managed to throw off detectives when it comes to even more nefarious schemes, so this should be a piece of (40) cakes for him, if anything.

Has Nick solved any crimes like this before? Has he put criminals like Lex behind bars before? I think I'd need to know that before I vote.

His hacking skills will be valuable to get to it and probably some tracking skills especially if he has dog meat
