I'm giving this to Kirby. If we go by canonical strength, it's really not a contest at all, but even if we just go by in-game skills, Kirby's copy ability giving him a free hit, and his floatiness letting him bypass large sections of levels, means that he is going to have little trouble getting past enemies and bosses in Ghosts 'n Goblins

I thought that was the case for mostly all fights on here. And yeah, Kirby probably wouldn't go down in one hit to the ghosts and ghouls in that game, in fact, he should canonically steam roll it. Being a robot helps against the things in that game as well, but if we're going by scores, Kirby would set a high score.

Astro Bot is always helped by the player in all of his games, being that the player would be in his arsenal at this point, I think his victory is pretty much guaranteed!

Wouldn't that be outside help though? Like, "the player" is another entity, not something Astro Boy has in his arsenal. And regardless, as I said, Kirby would be able to make it through the game with little to no difficulty anyway

This should go without saying but for these challenges we have to go by their platforming skills. Whatever they use in their games is fine, plus whatever add ons are provided in the challenge are fair game.

That said, Kirby still wins this. His copy abilities are just far greater than anything astrobot could do.
