There are probably a lot more minions than there are Crazy 88. In the Minions Movie, one of them no-sold eating a bomb, so they're very durable. However, they're also dumb and don't play well together. They are individually less skilled as well, but they do have cartoonish durability to an extent, so it might be harder for the Crazy 88 to win. That said, I think they would probably win by demoralizing the minions. Once minions start actually dying, they're probably not going to stick around

I think the minions can pull a win due to their insane durability, the crazy 88 will wear themselves out trying to kill these bumbling but hard to kill minions.

Didn't the Minions movie make a mention of the fact that they're immortal, for the most part? I don't know if it meant longevity or as in they're genuinely so durable it's impossible to kill them, it's still something to take into account. We don't really know if they can die at all.

I feel like that completely flies in the face of the category though. The whole point was members who are individually fairly weak and fragile but collectively can become a nuisance.

The minion's durability is a moot point, and they should not win this or any match in this space IMO.

The minions exist to serve the Big Boss.  And when they don't have a Big Boss to serve, they are despondent and purposeless.

They will determine the one individual on the other team (in this case the Crazy 88) who they can pledge their allegiance to, call them the Big Boss, pledge to serve him or her and forfeit the match as they have no further interest in it.

Their only motivation for competing at all would be to identify a Big Boss to become minions of.
