Now, I have not read the source material of Death Troopers but my understanding is that they are essentially zombie stormtroopers.  That is zombie stormtroopers created via some contagion.

If I have that right, in a Zombies vs. Mutants match I favor the Mutants.

Will wait to see if anyone has more info to add about them.

Well DeathTroopers are actually intelligent zombies, they've been observed operating spacecraft.

I assume they can still operate weaponry though, which was a big problem if I recall correctly from the last match including Metaluna Mutants because they simply lacked gadgets.

Are weapons allowed in this KotH game? If so then the Death Troopers seem to have an advantage. If not then I think it's actually very even

Weapons are allowed here.  I guess we'd assume that at the actual top of the hill it would just end up being melee though.

Sorry but from what videos I found of the Metaluna Mutants they just didn’t impress me that much, voting for the Death Troopers.

Having read Death Troopers and it's 'prequel', I think the Death Troopers take this win. The only way they were defeated in the book was because the ship they were on exploded. The virus maintained their intelligence and ability to aim/use weapons. It also augmented their strength to a small degree so they weren't easy to put down for the protagonists.

Agreed, though I think DeathTroopers are a bit OP to be considered cannon fodder imo.
