I believe Ainz is out of his depth here.  Despite his relative power and bluster, Ainz is just a 20-something gamer nerd mentally, with no psychic defense against what Parallax brings to the table. 

I imagine the Parallax entity would simply possess him.

Yeah, I don't think Ainz has the capacity to kill something on the level of Parallax with an instakill spell. Nevermind the fact that Parallax has showcased time manipulation on a level much higher than Ainz's little Time Stop, which is considered a trump card in his universe.
