I'd wager that Captain Marvel is more intelligent and faster than Rimuru, but that's about where his advantages end. Given enough time, Shazam could potentially come up with a way to win against the slime man, but as it stands Rimuru's superior arsenal of powers and sheer power should net him the win. If Shazam even shows a hint of losing fighting spirit while punching through Rimuru, who would consistently regenerate from his best hits, Rimuru could easily suck his soul out with Heartless One. That's at least one win condition I can think of for Rimuru, while I really can't think of one for Shazam in a 1v1, no prep battle.
