Match 16706 A-Force vs. Street Sharks

Imprisoned. 

Never in their years did they think this would happen. 

The Street Sharks, bested by what they described as "tin cans." In actuality, they were known as the Cybermen. 

It had all began when Dr. Paradigm had created a multiverse portal. He had met the Cybermen by pure accident as they intercepted his signal. Both parties agreed to an alliance that would benefit each other. Unknown to Paradigm however, the Cybermen had plans to betray him. 

And given the Cybermen had supplied him with a weapon that increases gravity, they were successful in capturing them. 

Afterwards, Paradigm and his henchman joined them through the portal to their world with the captured Street Sharks in tow and consequently, were destroyed on sight. Even Paradigm was deemed incompatible for conversion due to him being stuck in the technological suit. 

After being shot to death, the Cybermen had other plans for the Street Sharks. The lie that they promised Dr. Paradigm was to do more experiments with their technology. Their actual plans were to use them to eliminate any sort of enemies to oppose them. 

The Cyber-Leader examined the struggling, captured Street Sharks through a large examination window. He observed the various Cybermen keeping the creatures under control with a variety of tools like cattle prods and standing guard with their weapons ready to stun. 

"Leader." The Cyber-Lieutenant approached the Cyber-Leader. "The mind control injections are ready."

"The formula has been tested?" The Cyber-Leader asked. 

"Successfully, Leader."

"Excellent." 

The Cyber-Leader ordered the injections immediately as needles attached to mechanical arms descended from above. 

The plan was to use the mind controlled Street Sharks to terrorize various corners of the world and approach the world's leaders at the United Nations to join forces with the Cybermen for they will save humanity, even with a bogus backstory where the Street Sharks were long enemies of the Cyberrace. 

And with humanity surrendering, they will convert humans into Cybermen and conquer the Earth as New Mondas.

As the injections finally took place and took effect, the Street Sharks ceased their struggling and calmed down, obiedent to the core. 

"Reverse the gravitational pull." The Cyber-Leader commanded. 

The Cybermen complied, firing lasers that reversed the gravity done to them. 

The Cyber-Leader arrived in person to meet with the mutant shark men. 

"Whom do you serve?" The Cyber-Leader asked as he approached the leader, Ripster.

"We serve the Cybermen." Ripster replied. 

Satisfied, the Cyber-Leader then said, "You will first go to New York. You will terrorize the humans and we will arrive soon after. As we do, you will pretend you are beaten by our weaponry and intellect, then retreat to our base until the action will exactly repeat elsewhere. Understood?"

"Yes, leader!" The Street Sharks said in monotone, emotionless unison. 

"Excellent!" The Cyber-Leader said.

Around the Tri State area, a group of superheroines known as A-Force were busy evacuating civilians from apartment buildings on the verge of collapse. Earlier in the day, there were mysterious earthquakes and dozens if superheroes around New York came to either help or solve the mystery. 

Singularity materialized in front of Dazzler, startling her a bit, though thankfully unlike last time, she did not get hit in the face. 

Singularity had just teleported a family of two mothers and two sons given her abilities as a living pocket universe of sorts that she can fit more than a few people. 

"Good work, Singularity!" She-Hulk said before asking, "Anymore civilians?" 

"None!" She responded. 

"Everyone's for accounted for." Nico Minoru confirmed. 

"Any word?" Medusa asked Captain Marvel as she flew down to join the others. 

"Not much." Captain Marvel shook her head. "T'Challa, Blue Marvel and Spectrum are still searching for answers about these earthquakes."

Suddenly, another rumble had started. But more than that, Nico had spotted an unusual sight even for her. 

"Uh, guys?" Nico pointed for the others to see. "Is that normal? Even for us?"

They saw the sight of five shark fins of various colors, sticking and, for lack of better word, swimming through concrete. 

"Why does this look like something straight out of those stupid Sharknado films?" Dazzler asked. 

"We might as well be in one!" Captain Marvel quipped. 

Bursting from the ground, the Street Sharks, in full mind control and were ready for the attack. 

"Jaws on steroids?" Nico sardonically quipped. 

"Or Teenage Mutant Testosterone Sharks?" She-Hulk chimed in. 

"If you're done joking," Medusa said. "It's very apparent these are the culprits behind the earthquakes."

"Something tells me you're right!" Captain Marvel concurred. 

With that, the Street Sharks charged at the super women. 

"If it's a fight they want..." She-Hulk said. 

"They got it!" Captain Marvel finished. 

"Let's go!" Medusa, Nico and Dazzler shouted. 

The heroines charged at the Street Sharks as the two forces clashed.

No arc for this one but if this ends up being well liked, I could consider a sequel. 

Anyway, everyone on the side of A-Force is at full strength and power, Captain Marvel, Nico, Dazzler and She-Hulk especially. 

And the Street Sharks have their abilities and strength as well.

The A-Force seems to have the better advantage over the Street Sharks in strength and power.

Lots of love for the Street Sharks lately, I like it. Although, I can't see how they come out on top in this match.

By the way, admittedly I love using the Daleks and the Cybermen as go to villains for match ups as these.

I see the A-Force taking this match with no difficulty.

Great idea for a match and two teams you wouldn't expect to fight. God I love this place.

A-Force wins it though. Their first fight as a team was against a giant shark that fell from the sky so you know it wasn't meant to be for the Shark gang.
