Oooooh... This is going to be a tough one for Odie.

So is this the board game version of Jumanji or the video game?

I like Odie here.

For one, if he's playing the Jumanji board game it isn't on purpose; it has to be the result of some clumsy accident where the board was knocked down, dice got rolled and it activated.

For two, he has the kind of dumb luck that would ensure whatever he rolled probably would not cause an event which would be threatening to him, personally.  Whoever else is in the house better watch out though.

The picture being used for Jumanji is the board game. So, that's what it must be.

Yeah, I would go with Odie in the sense that in the case of the board game-- he would have to actively be a participant in the game. So this raises further questions.

The game is aware of it's participants and how they play, especially if one cheats. Is it aware that a dog accidentally activated it and if so, would it consider Odie a participant?

Also... how can a dog play a board game?

Yeah... I can see Odie's chances now. Only way to win.. is not play.

But if he is caught up... Well, maybe Alan Parrish finds him and keeps him around for a bit. Assuming Alan is in the game too, seeing as he's been trapped in it for so long.

I cannot win for nothing!

I can't see how the game would accept Odie in the first place. And even if he somehow got trapped in the game, he could keep away from trouble.

Again guys, 12 year old Allan survived in the game for 20+ years. Odie only needs to survive one day.

Odie is proving to be a real good MVP here!
