Well, you have a Robot vs. an Organic performing self surgery where the key phrase is "primitive tools".

I guess it could go either way, but I'm leaning Hawkeye Pierce.  Reason being a Robot likely requires advanced tools.  Like really advanced.  All it's going to do is mess itself up worse with primitive tools where as an organic can go a long way with some sticks and a sharp knife.

Also, Hawkeye is the master of meatball surgery in the MASH 4077th.

Knockout carries a lot of surgical tooks within his body, so he has some more options to work with. That said, he is not good at improvising.

I don’t have much better arguments than this. I think working in a Korean War unit should give him the edge.

Yeah, I agree with the consensus. Knock Out would certainly need more advanced tools to operate on himself. Hawkeye should be able to win this
