I think Johnny is gonna win this again. He's been able to motivate a bunch of kids down on their luck up to the point they started kicking ass and taking names.

Johnny's was acceptable but Boone brought it.

I really love Cobra Kai and the Johnny Lawrence character. While I think it did a great speech, I think Herman would be able to rally up the team with an epic speech. 

I feel both have that tough coaching persona going on, but Hermans speech in that clip above is just powerful

After Johnny gives a decent motivational speech, he is then immediately overshadowed by Coach Boone (and really by Denzel Washington) who rallies his team to victory and even Johnny is impressed and inspired. After the game, Johnny tells Coach Boone that he was the "right man for the job" and Boone tells Johnny that "You're a martial arts champion in my book."  Cue uplifting music
