 The zombies really would not be attracted to them at all and the Battle droids could just unload on them

If the battle droids are armed, it's a slaughter. If they're not, it's a much slower slaughter. World War Z zombies wouldn't even recognize the Battle Droids are there, because their perception is based on smelling hosts and such

For the last few days I’ve been trying to look up ANY type of argument or obscure fact that could give my WWZ zombies the win but came up with absolute zelch. You really screwed me with this fight Umpire.

Umm, let's see. Depending on which figures you use there may be more zombies and if the arena has spectators they may well crush the Droids, who are not known for there durability, in there rush to get to the human spectators.

Yeah zombies don't fare too well in a lot of the cannon fodder challenges.
