I'm liking Max in this match-up.  Max is no stranger to post-apocalyptic settings, gangs and situations.

the dystopian New York city landscape seen in Escape From New York offers plenty of places to lay low, and I would fully expect Max to be able to survive 24 hours here even if he runs into a tussle.
