I know very little about Ruby Thursday, as far as I’m aware she’s essentially a poor person’s Mysterio with about half the success rate.

Regardless, while Batroc the Leaper nowadays is usually portrayed as either a mercenary or agent, in the past he’s also been portrayed as a very experienced and successful thief, who lead his “Batroc Brigade into pillaging many New York City banks of their loot until he was finally stopped by Spider-Man.
