I think vampires would naturally prey on truckers.

Jack doesn't have anything that would kill a vamp or demon on him, I think it just takes someone like Darla acting all seductive and he's done for.

I agree. I don't think Jack would be able to lay low enough, and there are vampires and other monsters in Sunnydale like literally every day. To survive, you have to know the rules, lay low, and hope Buffy comes to save you
