Match 17895 Uchiha Itachi vs. Nasty Boys

Previously: Tula met with a hired killer to assassinate the pirate Bloth. Now see the plot play out.

 

He was glad to get a job but the girl, Tula, was so scared it made him nervous about what she wasn’t telling him.

Freelance work wasn’t his favorite thing but kept his skills up in-between his real work.

This job was going to be a challenge. Unless she completely left out this Bloth guy was a mutant or meta of some sort, he would be easy to kill. Getting to him was the problem. Bloth was always out to sea. He actually had his own boat; The Malestrom. The monster of a vessel rarely docked and Bloth had learned to stay on board. He let his men do the shore work.

Fate favored Uchiha. As he asked around info came that Bloth would be hosting a black market auction in a few days. It was his way of selling off pirate booty, fresh fish and acquire goods that The Malstrome needed.

This was one of the few times The Malstrome came to shore.

A disguise was probably not the best way to go as everyone would have people they knew well with them. A stranger would be shot without question.

To get close enough to Bloth to kill him, Uchiha needed to define close enough. All he needed to do was get within a hundred meters. If Bloth was on the deck of his monstrous ship, a passive vessel could tag him with a firearm. Such a crude weapon was an insult to a master ninja like himself but a justu attack would be just as effective. Although justu would be much more telling.

The only other problem was getting away. Even the guests’ security wouldn’t let an assassination go in their presence.

 

 

The people gathered, a few on-line of course. It was always a profitable meeting. Just for spirit of the sales a few mundane items were put up for bid. AIM rejected projects, mystical trinkets, alien tech.

Pretty much everyone bought at least one Fulgore unit. Riptors weren’t as popular. It was actually outsold by the Indominus Rex. Mainly because it was so much cheaper. Quickly though the auction brought out the big stuff.

Dr. Animo had implanted a pride of lions with human intelligence. The male was Mufasa, a female- Nala, a young cub- Simba, even a less impressive looking male lion- Scar.

As Uchiha began to make his move. Bloth had stepped away from the auction. Could be a bathroom break or to check on some other business he had better return within two minutes or the whole operation was in danger.

Just as Bloth was returning the police announced their presence. Evidently, there was tip off of the auction and someone with high aspirations saw this as an opportunity to nab one of the FBI’s most wanted.

Between the guest’s security and Bloth’s own measures, the police never stood a chance. However, this commotion was the opening Uchiha needed to hit his target. He needed to actually get on the boat now. An ill advised action.

After his discrete boarding, he understood why no one had ever tried this with Bloth. The pirate his a group of mutants on his payroll. Uchiha didn’t who they were nor their abilities but they didn’t even waist their time with the police. They knew the real threat when they saw him.

“Looks like somebodies trying to take advantage of the situation.” the long haired one grinned.

“Do we present him to Bloth dead or alive?” the black haired one asked.

“Let’s go with dead.” said the dark one.

Ruckus- team leader, sonic scream

Gorgeous George- tar like shape shifting

Hairbag- porcupine like bruiser (I used to think he was just an ape-man)

Ramrod- controls wood and plants

Slab- powerhouse

Ah, sorry that I missed out on this one, leroy. Another good continuation of the Pirates of Dark Water arc. 

Yeah, after looking up Itachi, I think he would've been too much for the Nasty Boys, too. Maybe if Vertigo were there to try to disorient him, they might've stood a chance, but I'm not even sure how likely that scenario would've been.
