Match 18920 Billy and Jimmy Lee vs. Queen Beryl

Billy and Jimmy Lee are twin brothers that are skilled in the arts of Sou-Setsu-Ken, a legendary Chinese martial art that they have been taught ever since a young age.

Commonly known as the Lee Brothers, as well as other names, they have fought many foes through their lives togethor and seperate.

One fought the other when he had become The Shadow Master, the leader of the Shadow Warriors that were originally behind Marian, their female friend, being kidnapped.

They fought an entire street gang to clear their names of being framed for murder.

They even fought alongside some walking, talking, buff toads in space to take down another villain called the Dark Queen.

What they were fighting for now however, was something else. 

Marian was safe, streets were still sort of peaceful, and their dojo had been filled with students for them to teach their martial art.

From what they had heard, someone was trying to bring back an old friend of theirs.

Skullmageddon.

Apparently Marian punched him so hard in the nads that it sent him into shock, killing him as he held his breath from said shock for too long. Talk about a way to go....

But someone heard about his exploits, someone heard about how much trouble it caused the Lee Brothers to save Marian from him. More street gangs, ninjas, robots, clones, even aliens!

The two were wondering just how this was gonna happen, and then he got a phone call from the dojo. It was Misako from River City, and apparently some goons in Kyoto dug up his body from Area 51, because of course it was there, and disappeared. Neither Lee brother bothered asking how she knew this, so onto Kyoto they went.

The moment they arrived, they were met with goofy looking monsters and demons. From a monster with a pumpkin head and giving constant raps about him beating them, to a living mannequin that shot parts that were sharp as knives. These were something else entirely, as they were more used to more generic badguys.

But badguys were badguys, so they did their best to rid the streets of these goons every chance they got and questioned them of Skullmagedons whereabouts. 

Well, okay, it was more like Billy questioned them while Jimmy kept threatening to send them to L.A. so Power Corp. can take care of them, whatever that meant.

AFter a while, they found one willing to talk and it created a portal for them directing them to where his body was being kept. They didn't blink for a moment and walked through it.

The moment they walked through it, they were welcomed with more goons, monsters and demons as they shouted at them and threatened them. "Kill them, and the Queen will reward us with their energy!" They charged at them and the Lee Brothers took a stance, ready for battle.

Hours later, they'd walk some more to arrive within a throne room, a large, open coffin containing the corpse of Skullmageddon as it glowed with bright, blue energy. 

On the throne however, was a woman. A woman with a dark, purple gown, holding a staff that held a large orb on top. She had, dark red hair, long nails that looked to be as sharp as daggers, and an expression of irritation in her eyes. She slowly got up from her throne and spoke. "Are you the Lee Brothers?"

The two nodded. "You're making a big mistake." Billy began to say. "This guy gave us quite the ride when he kidnapped a friend of ours. He was one of the toughest guys we've fought." 

Jimmy growled. "If you wanna deal with a sniveling laugh, grab yourself someone from the Geek Squad! But there is no way you're gonna bring this guy back to life to do whatever is is you do!"

The woman scoffed. "Such ignorance." She pointed her staff at the two, continuing. "I am Queen Beryl, ruler of the Negaverse! You talk of nuisence, and yet you stand right here in front of I!" Her look of irritation transformed into a look of anger. "I've had enough of you pathetic humans interfering! First the Sailor Scouts, now I need to deal with a couple of twins who think than can win against me!" She then points to the coffin with the same staff. "As long as he rests in that coffin and continues to gather energy, he will continue to grow stronger and eventually gain life again! To get to him, you will have to defeat me!!" She shouted before slamming the end of her staff on the ground, creating a forcefield around them. It was big enough to contain them all including the throne and the coffin containing Skullmageddon, but it was small enough to also block the entry way.

The Lee Brothers got into their stances as Billy looked at the coffin again. "He bro, theirs no forcefield on that coffin. If we last long enough, we can eventually get there and destroy the coffin." Jimmy smiled, catching on. "All we gotta do is last long enough for her to forget about it and one of us can break that damn thing." Billy nodded. "Right. Wich means once it's destroyed, we don't have to deal with Skullmageddon again."

Queen Beryl didn't hear them, concentrating on wanting to eliminate them. "Billy Lee! Jimmy Lee! Prepare to be destroyed!"

The two bumped fists. "Let's do some damage." The both said.

They then charged at Queen Beryl with jumps kicks, beginning the fight.


Let's see if the Dragon Masters can beat Queen Beryl.

Or at least last long enough for them to prevent Skullmageddons revival.

Cool fight, Gizmo. Always glad to see the Double Dragon representation. I'm pulling for them, although in the videos I've watched on Queen Beryl it would be a huge challenge.

Good entry, Gizmo, and interestingly written in almost a first-person narrative style. Didn't know you were old enough to know about Double Dragon.  

As for the match, Billy and Jimmy will no doubt put up a brave fight, but I don't think they can handle someone that regularly tangles with the Sailor Scouts. Even trying to stall this Queen Beryl chick would seem like a very dangerous task for them.
