Does Mickey have to kill Gaston to escape? Lol

It depends on the version of Mickey here, I suppose. The more grounded ones might actually be in danger, but the more whimsical guys shouldn't have too much of a problem. Gaston isn't very smart though, so even the more grounded fellas should be able to trick him and get away. If they do have to kill him, though, I'm not so sure Mickey would be okay with that

I think as long as Mickey can subdue Gaston in some form, that should suffice.

And I agree, Gaston isn't very bright. I think he'll get way too distracted in a mirror maze looking at his own reflection. Giving Mickey plenty of time to lay a trap or use magic/toon force

Gaston has a gun and muscles, Mickey has the power of toon force so I'm gonna go with the rat on this one

In an arena where the whole concept of it messes with the perception and orientation of others, I am willing to give the fight to the one usually portrayed as more intelligent. Sorry Gaston, but you are vain and conceited, and you would have a hard time actively treating the hunt as something that WASN'T beneath you.

Generally speaking, Mickey Mouse does not operate like Warner Brothers toons. Go back to the comics of the 30's - 50's and Mickey is often put in danger by fairly mundane circumstances.

So, against a better hunter I'd give serious thought to Mickey's chances.

But, it's Gaston. A none-too-bright Disney villain that is a lot like the ones in the comics Mickey would triumph against.
