Can Yoshi interact with Skulker? He can't hurt Boo I don't think. If he can't that's a massive disadvantage. I like Yoshi as a contender, but he's not gonna be able to outrun Skulker, and might not be able to fight him. I'm not 100% sure but it looks bad for Yoshi at the moment

Seems like the only way yoshi can harm boo is to hit him with the eggs when Boo decides to materialize. There aren't many animals for yoshi to consume on Mt. Everest so his ammo is going to be limited, and Skulker is just way more competent than Boos.

I'm 100% wrong. He can eat ghosts, as seen in this video. However, he can't eat Bigger Boo, maybe due to size, maybe due to power. Yoshi can take down Mountain-sized Bowser and can harms ghosts. I like his odds. The question is whether or not he can find eggs

I don't see it happening if he has to eat Everest wildlife, but if he can eat Skulker projectiles maybe.

If we go by the Super Smash Bros. games, Yoshi can produce as many eggs as he wants for throwing. Not sure if that's enough to keep Skulker at bay, though.
