I think the 'not in season' can be a metaphor for Diane being a reformed thief. Like Blade was originally hired to hunt her down but learns she changed her ways. I think Blade might back off then since he's doesn't really go after good people?

Unless Blade was somehow convinced that Diane's in league with vampires, I don't think this is in his wheelhouse.

Blade would hunt her down from a distance completely disabling her charm. Plus he would hunt her at night when she's sleeping or when she least expects it. And he definitely would not have to be within close proximity of her to unalive her. He has more toy and gadgets then Bruce Wayne.

You did read the fight parameters right? This isn't a straight up brawl. 

Diane has more gadgets than Bruce Wayne honestly.

Also I highly doubt the Crimson Paw and the Governor of California isn't prepared for some weirdo stalking her. Or won't have some security system she was the most successful thief in the world, she knows every route a would be assassin would try.

Well the scenario says that all Diana has to do is convince the hunter not to attack her, not outfight him. Honestly this scenario really bones Blade because if Diana is able to explain that she is A. Not a vampire and B. A legitimately elected official then Blade might not have a choice but to let her go. He may be a violent antihero but he still has a moral compass and attacking a completely innocent fox I think wouldn’t be his style.
