Oh Man, both of these guys kind of suck at this. Skynet was supposed to do this but then nuked us back to the Stone Age, and Brainiac just wanted to collect knowledge and whatnot. Of the two, I guess I trust Brainiac more because some part of us lives on, and if they were both motivated, he's undoubtedly the more impressive overall machine

Agree this is a tough one, perhaps doubly so in that Skynet brings time travel to the table. But Braniac feels more advanced and has weapons far beyond humanity's, which is what Skynet is based on (even if it evolved).

The thought of a T1000 type liquid "suit of armor" around the world is fascinating though.

This match is basically "Define Protect." Brainiac puts the Earth in a bottle and Skynet removes humanity for the planet.

I think Brainiac has it, but I don't necessarily think Earth will be any better off under his rule.

Brainiac's created armor and machinery that can go toe-to-toe with the likes of Superman. I think he's better equipped to protect Earth, but as mentioned, the planet's doomed regardless.
