Wackier may go to the Mach 5, but the Tank is not without precedent in Wacky Races.

I would think that a car like the Mach 5 would win this with more speed and maneuverability, wouldn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but a tank is still a tank, it wouldn't be able to catch up to something like the Mach 5.

Interesting one. 

It's pretty certain that the Mach Five and ThunderTank wouldn't be the only participants in the Wacky Race. Sure, the Mach Five is fast, but several other racers are likely to pull some dirty tricks to try to slow or disable it, especially Dick Dastardly. The ThunderTank would go through the same, and can endure a lot more punishment, but it may have problems keeping pace. 

This could be tough for either of them.
