At the same time, the wearer of a Robot Santa costume may bank on his relative popularity to carry him/her through and get lazy with creating it. 

Even so, a Robot Santa costume may never be as elaborate as one for the Djinn:

And the sheer elaboration of a well-done Djinn costume would certainly gain some favor with the judges.
