Infernal invasion

 

 

Dukat had given himself over to the darkside. That is, he was a full blown demon worshiper. It started with the Pah Wraiths of Bajor, the world he had occupied for the Cardassian Empire. They gave him power beyond what the military could but he maintained his military position, hiding his religious views.

But the forces of darkness saw a unique asset in this Gul of the Cardassians. The Infernals intended to invade the corporeal universe and Dukat was a useful asset.

A single ship would be all he needed for this endevor. His successful occupation of Bajor earned him autonomy therefore no one asked what his mission was.

A planet far from Cardassian space, within the Gamma quadrant of the Milkyway galaxy was his destination.

The voices in his head guided him and when he arrived he took down a team to do what he had been told to do.

The inhabitants of the planet all stayed away from the temple. This made the operation much easier.

The dark temple was easy to find and so was the sarcophagus. The locals had apparently set up some booby traps but the Cardssians were prepared for such hazards and lost not a single man.

Still more opposition was on its way.

 

 

When the aliens started beaming down, the scouts didn’t report back until they were sure what they were after. It had been so long since anyone had an interest in what was left here that most of the people had forgotten that they were there to protect it.

Maya hadn’t forgotten.

She led a small party to confront the aliens.

Dukat allowed the scouts to secure the area before he went down but once they had things in order. The temple is what exactly what he saw in his vision. The Pah Wraiths made it clear that he only needed to remove the seal on the sarcophagus to release it’s occupant. He was to welcome the being inside and it was unclear what would happen after that.

The seal was nothing special a special kind of clay, probably mystified to hold the imprisoned being. Hopefully a disruptor beam would suffice in destroying it.

Before he could even take aim, a transmission came through.

“Sir, we have resistance from the locals.”

“Can you hold them off?” Dukot asked.

“They seem primitive. But they know what they are doing. It might take a bit but we’ll neutralize them eventually.”

“Do not let them interrupt.” Dukat ordered. “I am almost finished.”

 

 

Fight Parameters:

 

Mya (plus six other warriors from her village) takes on a squadron of Cardassian soldiers.

 

Her objective is to stop them from opening a sarcophagus.

 

Mya is unmorphed and will not morph for this battle.

 

There are 12 Cardassians around some helping Dukat some patrolling as guards. They can call down back up if they feel they need it.
