Match 20512 Thanagarians vs. The Dinobots

As as goodwill mission direct from Optimus Prime, an Autobot superpresence was established in a gas giant’s moon colony. The instructions were to not disturb the locals. If possible contact was to be avoided. But huge mechanized beings lumbering around, colonizers were curious.

The reason the Autobots were there was because this moon had a high concentration of energon, basically Cybertronian food. The Autobots were to quietly extract the energon without disturbing the ecosystem. Since it was the territory of other beings, a security team was there to guard the project. The Dinobots.

The colonizers were under the dominion of Thanagar. They were allowed to settle on the moon giving Thanagar a new outpost should they desire. The energon didn’t’ register to them so it was quite a surprise for a patrol ship to find a group of Cybertronian’s operating in their world.

A platoon of winged warriors went down to investigate.

“What is the meaning of this?” the lead Thanagarian bellowed.

“Autobot business.” Grimlocke answered gruffly.

“Don’t give me that Cybertronian faction crap. Autotrons, Conobots you have no authorization to be here.”

“Maybe ‘Dinobot’ will draw some respect out of you.” Snarl growled.

“Dikobot sounds kind of lame.” a smug accompanied the Thanagarian’s insult.

“Dinobot ya air crapper!”

It was a universal derogatory term for Thanagarians. It always ended up in a fight.

“We were going to let you leave without incident but you really want to do this don’t you?”

“I really want to do this.” Slug stepped forward.

“I really wanna do this.” Sludge put his hand up.

As winged reinforcements soared down Grimlocke issued his usual order.

“Dinobots transform!”

 

Fight Parameters:

 

Unfriendly skirmish.

Nobody is trying to kill anybody but… things happen.

 

There are 20 Thanagarians coming down to help but only 12 to start things off.

 

To be clear, The Dinobots are not scaled down to human size. They are regular dinosaur size.

I think Thanagarians have this. In recent years, Nth metal has gotten a bit of a power boost to the point where what all it can do is limited to the imagination of the wielder (not really, it's got "defined limits", but it might as well be a Mjolnir lite now,), and this is an entire race of people wielding Nth metal. They should scrap the Dinobots.

Pretty good Megastory entry, leroy, if a bit short. Yep, Thangarians and Dinobots are definitely two factions that often need to work on their communication skills. 😄 

As for the match, individual Thanagarians often wield enough Nth metal gear to take on DC's flying bricks. They should take this skirmish, but the Dinobots will make them work.
