Regular humans who don’t even have half the feats of Spike have killed Xenomorphs. Ellen Ripley for example was a space miner with zero combat experience when she first encountered an Alien and was able to kill it.

Spike has combat experience and is a far better fighter than Ripley, so why exactly couldn’t he kill this one?
