Match 20913 Tina Armstrong vs. Dixie Clemets

The camera zoomed into an elaborately decorated ring inside the Battle Square of the Gold Saucer. Men and women in marching band attire lined up on the outside of the ring playing trumpets and blowing fire as fireworks exploded inside the arena.

DIO: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the first ever professional wrestling match brought to you live from the Gold Saucer. I am your host for the evening, Dio, park director of the Gold Saucer. And joining me on commentary for this seminal event, is World Martial Arts champion, Hercule Satan.

MR. SATAN: Hey there. Glad to be here. I know you wanted to make this event a big extravaganza, and it doesn’t get any bigger than bringing in the champ.

DIO: Indeed. Why don’t you tell the audience what has piqued your interest about this particular matchup, young man. Which for those who don’t know is Antonov vs. Victor Ortega.

MR. SATAN: Hey, uh…what did you call me?... Um, Yeah, both of these guys have been in contact with me about having an exhibition match for charity.

DIO: Like a Rocky and Thunderlips type situation.

MR. SATAN: I have no idea who you’re talking about. Anyway, of course it made sense for them to want to attach their names to the world champion, but I’m a busy man, I can’t do both. But this matchup here tonight will go a long way in deciding who gets the honor of taking on the champ.

DIO: This matchup is to decide who will get to advance in the CBUB Wrestling World Championship tournament, but I’m sure your presence here will give them some extra motivation.

Dio flexed his muscles at the announcer’s booth each time he spoke.

MR. SATAN: What are you doing? Are you okay?

Lights flashed in the Battle Square Arena and suddenly Tina Armstrong’s music echoed throughout the stadium.

DIO: That’s not the music for Antonov or Victor Garcia.

Tina Armstrong walked down the aisle with purpose and entered the square circle.

MR. SATAN: What’s going on?

Tina demanded a mic and was given one.

TINA ARMSTRONG: Hey y’all, I bet you weren’t expecting to see me here, but I got something to say. All week I’ve been stewing about what happened to my pop last week, and it still doesn’t sit right with me.

DIO: She is referring to what transpired in Chicago. Her father, Bass, had his prior CBUB record held against him and Hugo was granted a first-round bye.

Dio continued to strike bodybuilder poses with each sentence he uttered.

MR. SATAN: Can you uh please stop doing that. It’s a little distracting.

Inside the ring, Tina walked toward the ropes and pointed at the entrance way.

TINA ARMSTRONG: And then that jester GM of this federation had the nerve to threaten me. Well, let me let you in on a little secret, the Armstrong family don’t take kindly to threats, and we aren’t intimidated by anyone. So Harley, get your clown makeup butt out here so I can kick it all over the Battle Square Arena.

The live audience roared in approval. In response to the challenge, Callisto’s music played over the speakers and Harley’s fellow General Manager emerged from the back.

TINA ARMSTRONG: You’re not the one I wanted, where’s Harley?

CALLISTO: Tina, Tina, Tina, you must be horribly confused. You don’t call the shots here, we do. All these people paid for a match between Victor and Antonov and that’s what we are going to give them, so get out of our ring, now!

TINA ARMSTRONG: I’m all worked up, and I’m not leaving here without a fight!

Callisto was silent for a moment as sections of the audience chanted Tina’s name.

CALLISTO: Ok, have it your way. I’m sure these people wouldn’t be disappointed in seeing two matches tonight. 

The crowd chanted yes over and over again. Tina clenched her fist in triumph.

TINA ARMSTRONG: Go ahead, send her out here!

Callisto chuckled.

CALLISTO: You won’t be fighting Harley. No, we run this federation, we don't participate. No, instead we will just start our Women’s World Championship tournament early and I have the perfect idea for your first round opponent.

Callisto disappeared backstage and Tina looked around in confusion. Suddenly, Tina heard a familiar but unexpected theme. It was the 2006 remake of David Lee Roth’s “Yankee Rose”. Pyrotechnics went off by the entrance way and Dixie Clemets appeared.

DIO: What an unexpected twist, that’s the Three-Count Cowgirl herself, Dixie Clemets. Looks like we really are going to have a bonus match tonight.

Dixie played to the crowd and then pranced toward the ring.

DIO: What a diabolical move by Callisto. Dixie and Tina are friends and there was even talk of them going after the tag titles together. However (Dio flexed his bicep) it is everyone for themselves when it comes to the World Championship and I don’t see either young lady passing on an opportunity for the gold.

Mr. Satan was more concerned by the wrestling attire of both Dixie and Tina.

MR. SATAN: Videl, honey, if you are watching I forbid you from ever joining this federation.

DIO: That would be a real shame. I’ve seen her Great Saiyawoman outfit, I think she would do well.

MR. SATAN: What are you talking about?

Back inside the ring, Tina and Dixie approached one another.

TINA: Dang that Callisto.

DIXIE: Tina, we both knew this could be a possibility.

TINA: True, and it’s a match I’m sure the people have been dying to see.

DIXIE: Let’s give them a good show.

TINA: Agreed. No hard feelings, okay. I let you down nice and easy.

DIXIE: Heh. We’ll see about that.

Heh, a Rumble Roses character. Never played the game, but I've been watching a few videos of it lately.  

Good set-up of country-theme blonde wrestlers, Johnny. Characterization seems good, too. 

As for the match, I think I'll give this to Tina. Her moveset seems more varied, and she reguarly goes up against a wider variety of opponents.
