Twogunkid
“And in other news, eccentric billionaire Maximillion Pegasus still has not been heard from. The search has now hit week three and-” Bakura turned off the radio, he was still excited to see his friends. When he had found his Millenium Ring he had wished for friends and in the past few months he had found them. Yugi, Joey, Tristan, Tea, and Miho had invited him to play cards and check out a new game store. As he put his Millenium Ring around his neck everything faded out as another presence took over. Pegasus being missing was child’s play considering the Millenium Ring can find what it’s wielder desires. Yami Bakura scoffed at his other half’s plans, meeting with friends was a waste of time unless it was to torment the Pharaoh and steal his Millenium item. He began dowsing with his Millenium Ring, he began the walk across Domino city till he found an abandoned warehouse, inside was a dueling arena with a puppet and the lifeless body of Pegasus comically crushed by an anvil in a toon-esque fashion as it looks like he was forced to choose between saving an image of his dead wife and an immediate escape. “An ironic cartoon themed death.” Yami Bakura mused to himself. Bakura took his wiry body and pushed all his weight against the anvil slowly inching it till it tipped revealing his mangled skull but the remarkably intact eye socket with no evidence of the Millenium eye. The loud clang of the anvil turned lights on and a puppet sitting with a duel disk seemed to turn and a pre-recorded message began. “Hello, you don’t know me, but I know you Maximillian Pegasus, creator of Duel Monsters. I want to play a game. The key you need to open the warehouse door is stored within, but I’m not going to tell you where it is just yet. You have all the money and wealth you could possibly need and yet it’s become obvious you are a sick corrupt man. Kidnapping Mokuba Kaiba to fulfill whatever sick fantasies you have under the guise of a cardgame tournament. So we’ll start with that. The first clue is found in the game of 52 pickup. The the cards in your deck can spell out a message to where to look, oh and if you don’t hurry that anvil held by that drone over your head will be dropped. Clock’s ticking.” Bakura looked on the ground and saw the cards of Pegasus’s deck laid out… Bikkiribox, Oscillo Hero #2, Toon World, Toon Alligator, Oscillo Hero #2, Manga Ryu Ran, Dragon Piper, Red Archery Girl, Anubis’s Judgement, Witch of the Black Forest, Eye of Illusion, Raigeki, Swords of Revealing Light, all laid out next to each other. What did they mean… Bakura stopped looking at all the letters and just the first, “BOTTOM DRAWERS.” He turned see Pegasus had opened lots of bottom drawers in the room and it looks like he had run out of time. Bakura looked them over, the other self would be better at these sort of decoding games, but he was the Bandit King. He didn’t need the help to see another phrase. After a moment of thinking he moved the cards and came up with the phrase, “STORM TUBE,” with plenty of cards left over. Going to a nearby window drain he saw the tube running briefly along the wall. He removed the paneling and found a key which he then found a locked box that opened. Inside was a doll that came to life, “You aren’t Pegasus-” The doll seemed taken aback by someone continuing the game. “Too true, but I want to play a game. A Shadow Game. You have something of Pegasus’s I want, and I am going to get it.” Can Bakura hunt down Jigsaw and retrieve the Millenium Eye, or will Jigsaw be more than a match for a 5000 year old Thief Spirit? Tried to make it abundantly clear I was going by a more season 0/Manga canon so we have a darker Bakura than the 4kids anime.
