JohnnyChany Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago The Parr family sat around their dining table on a seemingly normal weekend night. Dinner was a lively affair, filled with Dash’s boundless energy, Violet’s quiet sarcasm, and Bob’s occasional dad jokes. After making sure Jack-Jack was fed, Helen Parr was enjoying a rare moment of peace. That was until the news interrupted their evening. The anchor on the television across the room had an expression of unease. “Breaking news tonight: Elastigirl, one time beloved superhero and protector of our city, has been seen committing a string of audacious crimes across Metroville. Footage of these shocking events is coming up next.” Helen froze as her fork came close to her lips. “What?” Dash’s eyes widened. “Cool! What did you do?” “Dash!” Violet snapped. “Obviously, it’s not Mom.” The TV displayed grainy security footage of Elastigirl stretching her limbs to disable security cameras at a high-tech laboratory. Next was a video of Elastigirl slipping into a jewelry store to pilfer diamonds. The one that followed depicted Elastigirl speeding down the street evading police cars. A voiceover played over the footage: “Don’t bother trying to catch me. This city belongs to Elastigirl now.” The footage cut to a clip of the impostor as she addressed a live camera. The woman looked exactly like Helen, right down to the jawline, hairstyle, and signature red suit. “Metroville deserves a hero who takes what she wants. Today, that’s me. Tomorrow? Who knows.” Dash turned to his mother. “You’ve been with me all day, but how did you move that fast? That’s some serious multitasking!” Violet groaned and threw a breadstick at him. “Dash, use your brain for once. It’s not Mom.” “Thank you, Violet,” Helen said softly. She furrowed her brow. “But whoever it is, they’re doing a good job impersonating me, even my voice.” Violet nodded reluctantly. “Yeah, it’s a solid impression. Creepy, but impressive.” Helen clenched her fists. “This… this impostor is dragging my name through the mud!” Bob put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Relax, Helen. You’re not going to get arrested. We’ve got plenty of witnesses who know where you were when these crimes happened.” “That’s not the point!” Helen exclaimed. She rose from her seat. “This isn’t just about me. It’s about the trust people have in heroes. I worked hard for that trust, and now someone’s tearing it apart!” “So, bring her to justice, Mom! That’d totally clear your name and get everyone to like you again,” Dash suggested. Helen folded her arms. “Oh, sure. I’ll just find this mystery woman in a city of millions. Piece of cake.” Bob shrugged. “Why not go old-school? Patrol the streets, wait for her to make her move.” Helen scoffed. “That’s ridiculous.” Bob leaned back. “Got a better idea?” Helen hesitated, then sighed. “No. I don’t.” The next night, Helen donned her Elastigirl suit for the first time in years. She leapt between rooftops and looked for any sign of trouble. She also tried her best to remain in the darkness away from the sight of any nearby law enforcement. As she turned a corner near a downtown bank, she caught sight of a figure lurking in an alley. It was her, or rather, the woman pretending to be her. The doppelgänger spoke to a handheld screen, where a sinister gorilla with a brain in a jar barked orders. “Remember, Rouge,” the gorilla growled, “we move soon. We will need Mr. Incredible for our plan against the Doom Patrol.” “Patience, Monsieur Mallah,” the impostor replied with a smirk. “Once I’ve completed my work here, he’ll do whatever we ask.” Helen stepped into the alley. “I don’t know what you think you are doing, but I’m here to stop it.” The impostor turned. Her expression shifted from surprise to delight. “Ah, the real Elastigirl. How wonderful to meet you.” Helen glared at the woman. “Who are you, and why are you doing this?” The impostor’s form shimmered, her face contorted until it revealed the sharp, angular features of a Frenchwoman. “I am Madame Rouge, the Brotherhood of Evil’s finest actress and master of disguise. And you, my dear, are my current role.” “Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no way you could fill my shoes.” Madame Rouge chuckled. Her body stretched and twisted in unnatural ways. “Oh, but I really can. However, it seems I won’t need to for much longer. Capturing you is the main objective of our plan. My performance was merely the bait to lure you out of hiding,” Rouge explained. “And once I capture you, your precious Mr. Incredible will do anything to save his darling Elastigirl.” Helen rolled her eyes. “Cliché much?” Rouge smiled. “Perhaps, but the classics are classics for a reason.” Suddenly, Rouge’s arms elongated and she attempted to envelop them around Helen. Helen reacted instantly, and used her own stretched limbs to block the maneuver. Their elastic powers clashed in a bizarre, fluid dance of strikes and counters. “I must admit,” Rouge said. “you’re putting up more of a fight than I expected.” “Get used to it,” Helen replied. “Because you’re not taking me anywhere. I am taking you down.” The two circled each other, their elastic forms twisted and flexed as they clashed in the alley.

leroypowell3 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I was supposed to get some more pictures for both these ladies but haven't gotten around to it yet. In the Teen Titans cartoon Madame Rouge was a monster. She was unbeatable. Elastigirl is very skilled, resourceful and tenacious. Those three combined qualities might put her over but I can't help but keep leaning toward Madame Rouge.
Peypeypeypey Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I would say Rogue has more control over her elastic powers. Being able to morph into other people is a lot of control. However, Elastigirl has really good stats and is a seasoned fighter. I'm not sure yet but I'm probably leaning Rouge
