JohnnyChany Posted yesterday at 12:56 AM Posted yesterday at 12:56 AM The New York warehouse district erupted into chaos as members of the JSA All-Stars battled an unfamiliar foe. Atom Smasher swatted away a swarm of MOUSERS like gnats as he towered over them at his full height. Next to him, Citizen Steel stood as an impenetrable wall, his shiny metallic form shrugged off the robots' biting jaws with ease. “These things are like rabid piranhas!” Atom Smasher shouted as his giant fist smashed through a cluster of MOUSERS. “Stay focused!” Hourman yelled. Hourman was in the midst of his hour of superhuman strength and agility giving him the edge as he ripped apart the mechanical minions. “That human fly scientist in that pod suit. We take him out, this ends!” “Gotta admit, I didn’t expect to fight mechanical cockroaches today,” King Chimera quipped. “Who is this scientist guy anyway? Is this some strange tryout for the Injustice Society?” Baxter Stockman, encased in his armored pod suit, cackled over the chaos. “You think you can stop me? My genius knows no bounds!” His suit’s plasma cannons fired at Citizen Steel, whose reflective body absorbed the blast with minimal damage. “I’ve dealt with worse,” Citizen Steel remarked. Suddenly, the warehouse doors burst open. Bebop and Rocksteady stormed in, Bebop brandished a plasma cannon of his own and Rocksteady wielded a massive sledgehammer. “Y’all ain’t takin’ down the boss that easy!” Bebop declared. “Time for a rumble!” Rocksteady roared. “What are these things?” Hourman asked. “No idea,” King Chimera replied, “But they’re uglier than the MOUSERS.” Meanwhile, across town, Stargirl and Judomaster strolled through a bustling market. Stargirl admired a pair of earrings when Judomaster tensed up. “We’re being watched,” she noted in her calm, no-nonsense tone. Before Stargirl could respond, Foot Soldier Elite dropped from the rooftops with weapons drawn. Judomaster leapt into action. She disarmed one with a fluid kick and used his own bo staff to sweep his comrades. “Watch the civilians!” Judomaster shouted. Stargirl activated her Cosmic Staff. “You picked the wrong day to mess with us!” she exclaimed. Stargirl blasted two attackers into a fruit stand. For a moment, the two heroines held their ground. Judomaster’s martial prowess and Stargirl’s powerful staff kept the Foot Soldiers at bay. Then, the tide turned. Rahzar pounced from the shadows, his massive claws caught Judomaster off guard. Fishface slithered through the chaos. He swung his sword across Stargirl’s staff. Finally, the towering Chrome Dome appeared and attacked the outnumbered heroes. A swift ambush from behind left Judomaster dazed and Stargirl restrained. “Let her go!” Judomaster gasped as Rahzar dragged Stargirl away. Returning to her feet after the departure of the villains, Judomaster called Power Girl. Within minutes, Power Girl was at her side, flanked by Cyclone and Magog. “Cyclone, check for any unusual wind patterns. Magog, keep your weapon ready,” Power Girl ordered. She turned to Judomaster. “You look a little rough, might want to sit this one out. We’ll find her. I do wonder though. If Stargirl was the target for all of this, then maybe someone like Arthur Pemberton might be involved.” “Pemberton?” Judomaster asked. “He’s kidnapped her before,” Power Girl reminded.”At the time it was for Johnny Sorrow, who knows if someone else interested in Courtney wouldn’t tap him again because he was successful before.” “It’s possible all these mutants and ninjas that have appeared are a part of some new Strike Force he is putting together,” added Cyclone. Power Girl tapped her communicator. “Damage, Sandman, I need you to track Pemberton. Even if he isn’t involved this time around, he might have some valuable intel on this new crew.” Damage’s voice emitted from the com. “Got it. I’ll call Wildcat. He’s good at getting answers.” In a darkened alley, Tom Bronson answered Damage’s call. “So Stargirl’s been taken, and you think Pemberton may be involved? I will meet you there.” Static erupted in Tom’s ear. “Hey, are you still there?” Tom was answered with silence. He looked over his com. After he looked back up an imposing figure emerged. Tiger Claw stepped into the light. His eyes glowed with malicious intent. “Going somewhere?” Tom glared back at him. “I guess I have you to thank for this. A walking, talking tiger hmmm, are you a part of this new circus? Who hired you? Pemberton?” Tiger Claw smirked. “Don’t know him. I will let you in on a little secret though, Stargirl isn’t the target. She never was. Your friends are on a wild goose chase that leads to nothing. Couldn’t have any of them interfering with my work. You are the prize. ” Tom was confused. “Me? What could you want with me?” “Sins of the father. Master Shredder has unfinished business with Ted Grant,” Tiger Claw growled. “Taking you out will send the message loud and clear about the consequences of crossing the Shredder and the Foot Clan.” Tom chuckled. “You came all this way for me. Hate to break it to you, but I’m not my dad. I’m much worse.” Tom’s muscles rippled as he transformed into his werecat form, claws extended, and fangs glinted in the moonlight. “Let’s see how tough you really are.” Tiger Claw grinned and grasped his laser pistols. “Finally, a challenge worth my time.”
