Previously: After being revived by the demon-worshiping Cadassian- Dukat-

Mumm-Ra had them take him to the homeworld of the Jaffa warriors who once served him. Some of the Jaffa has since rebelled and a team went to try and kill Mumm-Ra before he could become too powerful. Teal’C was the last Jaffa available to face him.

Teal’c was no match for Mumm-Ra even in his mummified form.

The demon priest’s magic squashed any intention the Jaffa warrior had.

A bit of toying and Mumm-Ra finished his enemy off.

By the time more Cardassian guards came Mumm-Ra had completed some kind of spell.

“Are you alright sir?” One of the Cardassians asked.

“I am unharmed.” Mumm-Ra reported. “Your leader Dukat is dead. Who commands your people now?”

“Damar, sir.” He is on the orbiting ship.

“Inform him of his promotion. And have him withdraw his ship from orbit. I have no need of it for now.”

“This is your base?” asked the Cardassian.

“No. I will be very mobile. But space travel will not suffice. There is a more efficient way for me to reach my destinations.”

With provided transports, Mumm-Ra directed a platoon of Jaffa Warriors along with a squad of Cardassians to the location of a Stargate.

The Jaffa used it a little but none of them knew of the address that Mumm-Ra put in.

The world they emerged into was much colder. Fortunately, a bunker nearby stored clothing and supplies that the troops gladly commandeered for their survival.

Once everyone was properly geared up, they ventured further into the new world. Soon they came upon a city. It was advanced looking, the level that the Cardssians were comfortable with.

Long before they reached it, a hostile welcoming party met them. They didn’t fire but it was clear that they would not accept any suspicious behavior.

“Identify yourselves! State your business.”

“We come from the stargate.” said the Cadassian squad leader.

“We know that! No one uses the stargate anymore! Why have you come here?”
Finally Mumm-Ra spoke up. “Long ago, the planet Doom was a second home to me. The Drules began to expand based on my influence.”

“Drule is not a name we recognize anymore. We are the Galra.”

Mumm-Ra snorted. “Galra. So you unified, and continued the work apparently.”

Suspiciously. The Galra soldier looked at him. “Who are you?

Mumm-Ra smiled. “Do not be afraid. We have history.”

After the Cardassians withdrew, military support- too late- showed up and began an investigation. The tomb of Mum-Ra had been taken.

Naturally, Cardassian government was contacted and the conclusion was that Gul Dukat had gone rouge. He was to be dealt with severely. That was their way of passing the work to someone other than themselves.

An odd choice for the mission but it was the closest most capable ship available The UNSC Pillar of Autumn was issued orders to eliminate Dukat.

Captain Keys scoffed at handling Cardassian business but he did his duty.

The ship that Dukat was using had been tracked to Draka.

“When they arrived, they immediately found the ship in question pulling out of orbit.”

Captain Keys hailed the ship with his prepared demands. “This is Captain Keys of the Pillar of Autumn. We are here at the request of the Cardassian government to apprehend your ship and arrest Dukat along with those who follow him.”

He threw the lie out hoping that it would drop their guard. This ship would not be apprehended and there would be no arrests made.

Aboard the Cardassian ship, Demar considered his options. The minute he agreed to follow Dukat he knew that there was no turning back. Surrender was not an option.

This was an Earth war vessel. As he understood interstellar conditions- Earth was in alliance with many other galactic powers. This was mainly through their membership in the United Federation of Planets. But factions of Earth worked independently of the Federation and exclusively used Earth tech. Just like the inhabitants of the planet their space faring adventures was un-unified. Meaning many different organizations with a wide variety of engineering. This Pillar of Autumn was not in their database so he knew nothing of its capabilities.

An engagement would surely fill the ignorance void but if this UNSC Earth faction proved too formidable there would be no Cardassians to tell the tale.

Screw it. Cardassia had deemed to villainize those who would make Cardassia great. No turning back meant no turning back. He ordered shields at maximum and weapons ready to fire.

Fight Parameters:

The Pillar of Autumn will attempt to destroy a Cardassian warship.

They will take no hostages

I am leaning towards the Pillar of Autumn, but I may need to look into it some more. I have surface level knowledge of Halo, and I used to watch TNG when I was young, but it's been a bit.

I got to highly dispute the results here the Autumn's weapons wouldn't even penetrate the navigational shields of your average ST ship. The UNSC usually didn't fare very well in naval engagements. Meanwhile the Cardy ship could just cut the Autumn open with phasers.

But far too late for this argument.
