Match 21110 The Wreckers vs. Quantrons

Megastory 30.2

 

Previously: Committing to a mutually agreed skirmish with the Dinobots, a Thanagarian patrol accepted Autobot help in fighting off Terminus as they evacuated a planet before he could destroy everything.

 

 

“You mech beings save lives better than you fight.” the Thanagarian commander- General Hro Talak- offered. “You were a great help to us evacuating the planet.”

“Our leader- Optimus Prime- values life. It’s one of his mandates to all Autobots.” Kup explained. Then he changed the subject. “So there’s something I wanted to ask about. This Alliance of Evil.”

“Just as it sounds, an alliance of diabolical beings working to do harm to the universe.”

“I could almost see, Decepticons being involved in this. Not Megatron, but some others.”

“Our intelligence has not confirmed any Cybertronian involvement. But they suspect at least one of your kind in allegiance.”

Kup understood where this was going. “We’re Autobots. Our enemies are Decepticons. We don’t go after targets unprovoked.”

Talak had a counter for that. “Some of our people are preparing a strike. Perhaps you have some of your mech beings that can contribute. Help identify any Cybertronia involvement.”

Thoughtfully Kup responded. “If it’s the kind of strike I think your talking about, we got a team that would be eager to get in on it.”

The Wreckers looked like they were ready to launch the shuttle that they weren’t even in upon hearing of mission. Something with a lot of targets.

Impactor, the team leader, didn’t even seem interested in the details. But Kup gave it to them anyway.

“The Thanagarians are hitting a related target but they need a team to hit the base and draw a lot of attention.”

Senses got a hold of Impactor even as his optical receptors glowed with anticipation of violence.

“Is Prime going to sign off on this?”

Kup grumbled. “Eh, it’s an exploratory mission. Really dangerous though. They got into it with the Dinobots so I don’t see them working nicely together. They’re out. You in?”

As much as they liked to ‘just go’, the Wreckers did understand the concept of a plan. Impactor and Wheeljack would kick things off. Tigatron would come in behind, taking on whoever survived. Springer and Whirl worked as air support, giving the enemy something else to worry about.

Their Thanagarin comrades were clueless as to what they would be facing so The Wreckers hit the Quantrons hard to keep them from mounting a powerful counter attack. So far so good. The automatons kept coming and the Wreckers kept wrecking. Sooner or later the waves of enemies would stop.

Fight Parameters:

 

The Wreckers vs. 100 Quantrons spread out in the base. They are all converging on the Wreckers location so they’d better destroy them fast so they don’t get overwhelmed.

 

Let’s just make them the same size (cause I said so).

Love the Megastory and this one is a good entry. I don't know much about the two, but from my quick research I think the Wreckers won't have too much of a problem with the Quantrons, even if they are outnumbered.

Well even at human size, I still see the Transformers beating foot soldiers from Power Rangers.

Decent continuation of your Megastory, leroy, but this one may be one of your shortest yet. 

As for the match, I'd have to agree that even at human size, the Wreckers should be able to fight off these Quantrons. I'm not that familiar with Impactor and Whirl (I'm thinking their main presence is in the comics?), but I do know that the Wreckers are pretty much the Special Ops of the Autobot team.
