The clock struck midnight as the band had finished their last song. From the beats of the drums to the blaring guitars, it was almost deafening inside the concert. Cheers and screams from the crowd caused the walls to shake while the lead singer raised his hands high up in the air for applause. Strobe lights shook as they shined down upon the crowds. Inside this concert, it seemed as if it was a chaotic concert with the crowd of partying fan. Outside of the concert, there was thunder and lightning that only added to the chaotic frenzy that the crowd had made for this underground band. The screams from the crows could be heard for several blocks while the light that shined through the winds was drowned out by the pouring rain. Patrol cars drove up and down the surrounding areas to monitor the crowds of partiers.

It took a while for the crowd to calm down once the music had come to an end. Eventually, the craziness of the concert had come to an end. The crowds dispersed and left on this stormy night. For some the end of the concert mean the end of the night, but for others they wanted to keep the momentum going. They wanted to follow that rush from the highs of the blaring music. During the storm and through the pounding rain, they searched for ways to continue to that adrenaline high.

Two such people were childhood friends, Lindsay and Jenny. The concert was everything that they wanted. Their only issue is that they wish the night would never end. With the pouring rain and the strikes of lightning, the two friends searched for a way out of the storm. Signals on their phone were weak and most of the Uber vehicles were booked with other members from the concert. Despite the storm and the lack of Uber vehicles in the area, the ladies decided to try their luck in braving the storm. Most bars and clubs were either at capacity or not worth the effort. The restaurants and diners in the area were either closed for the night or did not catch the interests of the two friends. Despite not wanting the night to end, the two friends did not find seem to have much of a choice in the matter. Their choices were limited.

Through the thick and pounding rain, the two girls saw a warehouse up ahead. Hoping to at least find a place to get away from the storm, the two friends made their way inside the old and abandoned warehouse. Even though, there were attempts at boarding up the windows and entrances, it did not stop the locals from tearing away at the makeshift blockades. Lindsay and Jenny found an easy opening that led inside this warehouse. With what dim light they had from their phones, they could see that it appeared to have been abandoned for some time. Both girls were sauntered around as they looked over the dust and mold that covered the interior. They were not sure if it was once a factory of some kind.

“Any luck with finding an Uber?” Lindsay asked as she peered back at her friend.

“It looks like they are still pretty booked. Closet one is about 15 or 20 minutes out.” Jenny said with a shrug.

Lindsay sighed before waving back her long-wet hair from away from her face. “Might as well get one booked then. Damn, I really wish there was something else to do!”

With the faint signal that she had on her phone, Jenny had requested an Uber. A strike of lightning through the stormy skies caused the warehouse to light up. While Jenny's eyes were looking down at her phone, Lindsay something painted on the walls. She stepped closer to get a better look of the painting. It was a large mural that spanned almost as high as the ceiling itself. Her jaw dropped ever so slightly as she gazed over the image through the dim light on her phone. While her mind processed what the image was, a couple strands of her long-wet hair fell over her face once again. Lindsay waved it back as her eyes moved along the wall. She then caught sight of a figure emerging from the shadows. It was a thin and lean man that was dressed all in white. As he stepped closer into view, she saw what appeared to be lines of blood dripping down his eyes and stains all along his clothing.

"Oh shit!" She screamed out before turning and running. Without looking back, Lindsay ran as fast as she could. She heard Jenny let out a scream shortly after followed by the footsteps of her running. Lindsay did not look back as she ran as fast as she could towards the exit. Despite the torrential downpour, she pushed through the storm. She ran across the wet pavement and through the thick drops of rain that pounded down against the Earth's surface. Lindsay ran until her lungs started burning and finally stopped to take a breath. With the momentum of her legs, she slipped on the ground but was able to catch herself before falling in a puddle. Lindsay turned her head back to see that there was no one behind her. There was no one chasing her. In fact, there was no one around her. She was alone.

"Jenny?" She muttered to herself as she wiped the water from her face. "JENNY?!" Lindsay screamed out as she started stumbling back toward the direction of the warehouse.

In her attempt to escape, she did not think to look back for Jenny. Through the fear and the panic, she did not realize that Jenny was no longer with her. Did Jenny get taken by this man in the white costume? Lindsay started breathing heavily as her eyes started to swell up. Tears roll down her face as she screamed out for her friend. "JENNY!" She cried out as loud as her lungs would allow. Lindsay started jogging back towards the warehouse. Before approaching the building, she saw the bright beams of headlights peering through the rain. Lindsay threw out her arms and waved them in all directions. Thinking that this could be the Uber that Jenny had ordered only moments earlier, Lindsay rushed towards the oncoming vehicle. The dark SUV came to a stop only a few feet away from the screaming girl. Before Lindsay could not on the window, the driver's side door opened wide. Lindsay's screams began to fade as her eyes adjusted to a large figure stepping out of the vehicle.

"What the hell?" she said under her breath before hyperventilating. Lindsay tried to turn and run, but she slipped on a puddle of water. Falling on the wet pavement, she tried crawling away with what strength she had left. Despite her efforts, the large figure grabbed ahold of the terrified young woman. Lindsay kicked and screamed as he carried her back to his vehicle. He slammed her into the back of the vehicle, and she turned to see her attacker. Covering his face, he had what appeared to be the mask of a pig. She tried fighting back. She tried getting away, but the man with the pig mask placed a cloth over her face. There was a powerful smell embedded within the cloth. Suddenly, everything went dark.

Opera music was playing over a speaker. There were noticeable moments of static while faint sounds of squeaky wheels could be heard. Lindsay started opening her eyes and her stomach started to turn at the smell of an awful odor. She almost puked at the smell alone, but then her eyes adjusted to the room that she was in.

The floors were a stained tile that did not appear to have been cleaned in some time. There were brown spots covering the ceilings and hospital gurneys scattered throughout the room. Lindsay tried sitting up, but she found that her armed were strapped down on one of the gurneys that were in this disgusting room. She squirmed and she struggled while trying to break free from her restrains. A voice that overpowered the sound of the music had called out to her.

“Oh, you are awake.”

Lindsay turned toward the direction of the voice and started to panic. Lindsay saw the man with the pig mask inching closer to her.  “What the hell are you? Where am I?” She screamed out while trying to break free from her restraints.

“Do not be afraid my dear for soon you will be joining the rest of my darlings. Soon you will be perfect.” He said while extending out his arms with a scalpel in one hand and a surgical saw in another.

“Please let me go!” Lindsay cried as her voice began to shake. “Please don’t hurt me.”

“My dear, there is no perfection without pain. I am going to make you perfect.”

“NO!” Lindsay cried before this large man plunged the scalpel into her flesh.

Everything went dark.

Waking up later, Lindsay could feel her body burning. Her head was throbbing, and her skin felt as if it has been torn to shreds. The world was blurry around her. From what she could see, she could tell that she was in that same filthy room that she was in before. This time, she was not tied down to gurney any longer. The young woman had little strength, but from what she had left, she pushed herself out of the gurney. There was a door that was cracked open, and the young woman used all the strength that she had to crawl towards the door. She pushed herself through and made her way down the hallway. “Just a little bit further, just a little bit farther.” She kept telling herself this as she moved down the damp hallway.

That same unbearable stench that she smelt earlier had filled her nostrils. This time it was stronger, much stronger than before. Despite the smell, she continued to push forward. Despite the pain and the agony that she was feeling, she continued to move. She could not stay. If she stayed, she would die. She had to get escape. She had to find Jenny. She could not leave Jenny alone. Not again.

Finally, she made it outside. The storm had past, but it was still dark out. She had no idea what time it was. At first, she did not know where she was until she saw a familiar landmark. A feeling of relief came over her once she saw the building that the concert was in. That warehouse was not far from there. Jenny was not far from there.

A little more strength had returned to Lindsay as she managed to get to her feet. The throbbing pain in her head started to ease up as she stumbled forward. Her eyes then looked over her arms and body. Her arms and legs were covered in white gauze bandages, and she was in what appeared to be a hospital gown. Before she could look any closer, she heard screams coming from inside the building that she had escaped from.

Without thinking, she started running. She ran toward the building that the concert was held in and then ran a little further. Her vision started to blur as her head started to grow lighter. The young woman soon fell on her hands and knees in exhaustion. The pain that she felt was too much. Lindsay vomited on the ground before falling face first on the pavement. She rolled around and tried crawling out of view. The skin around her abdomen started to burn as she hid underneath a dumpster. She watched as a dark SUV sped by the area.

Lifting the gown, she saw what appeared to be stich marks all over her chest and stomach. She had no words. The young woman simply sobbed before taking a moment to catch her composure. She had to find Jenny. She had to make sure that Jenny was safe. Lindsay pushed herself up to her feet and made her way back to that warehouse. As she walked, she soon saw her reflection in a window. The air escaped her lungs as she reached up and gently rubbed her hands over her face.

“What did he do to me? What did he do to me?” She sobbed as she looked over her reflection.
What did he do to me?” She wept while starting to hyperventilate.

Dropping down to her knees, she started rocking herself back and forth. She kept repeating those words over and over. She thought about her parents and what their reaction would be if they saw her like this. She thought about her friends and family. She thought about Jenny. The thought of her friend brought her out of this moment of shock. She had to find Jenny. They had to escape from this terrible nightmare. Lindsay saw the entrance to the abandoned warehouse and nodded. She was going to make sure that her friend was safe.

The light from the moon and stars had shined through the windows of the abandoned factory. Lindsay steadily walked through the building until she saw it. She saw that same mural more clearly. As she looked over the painting, her eyes moved around to the rest of the factory. On one of the opposing walls, she caught a glimpse of another mural. Lindsay slowly made her way toward the image. “Oh my…” She said before going quiet. It was a painting of a man with a pig mask. While looking over the massive painting, her eyes then fell upon a figure laying down at the corner of the mural. Lindsay stepped closer toward the figure and wept.

Laying down at the corner of the mural was the lifeless body of her friend. The pale remains of Jenny had lines of blood dripping down from her eye sockets. “No, please… No!” Lindsay cried as she fell on her knees next to her lifeless friend. “Please. I’m sorry!” Lindsay cradled her friend’s body in her arms as she cried. She could not help but think that whoever did this was inhuman. He was a deranged monster.

“Don’t worry, it is not complete yet. This work of art is a shared piece...” A voice said from within the shadows.

Lindsay turned her head to see that same thin and lean man from earlier coming out of the shadows.

“And you are going to complete it.” The man said as he grabbed ahold of Lindsay. The young woman let out an agonizing scream before being knocked unconscious by the man in white.

As dawn approached, the dark SUV stopped outside of the warehouse. Every door to the vehicle had opened. The occupants inside of the SUV had stepped out and made their way toward the warehouse. Walking deeper into the abandoned factory, the man in the pig mask soon caught a glimpse of the horrific sight that laid before him. The remains of his creation were lying next to the body of another girl. His perfect creation was now gone. Drained of blood and drained of life, his darling was gone. He then heard faint footsteps from around a corner. Professor Pyg turned his head and saw the man in white stepping out from around a corner.

“YOU!” Professor Pyg screamed as he pointed at the thin man. “You hurt one of my perfect darlings!”

“She was but a mere piece to something much greater than herself. She was a part of my art. Agony is but a sacrifice to the mysticism behind my work. My art requires pain. It requires blood.” Muse replied as he stared at Professor Pyg and his Dollotrons. “I have been waiting for you. You will make a fine piece on the wall of City Hall.”

“Darlings, show him how perfect you are!” Professor Pyg commanded his Dollotrons while pointing at Muse.
